Dooars is spread across 880 sq km of land and is widely known for its changing climatic conditions that vary based on the altitude levels ranging from 90m all the way to 1800m. This also contributes to its rich ecosystem which is home to numerous animal and bird species making it a paradise for nature lovers. Dooars is home to major rivers such as Brahmaputra, Jaldhaka, Jayanti and Teesta which adds to its natural beauty.
